Asian Party Palette

by Beth on March 22, 2011

China was a great experience. Hopefully not a once in a lifetime experience. But, just in case I want to share the colors and patterns I found there to inspire you for your next Asian theme party.

Some of the color I kind of expected. The bright colors of the silk, flowers and fish. I made sure I brought back some of the silk. In fact, along with Christmas ornaments, fabric is something I always bring home when I go on vacation. I like to use it for garland, crafts, and table linens, it makes me think about where I got it.

The subtler colors and patterns were a wonderful surprise. I loved the different surfaces and textures. It makes me just itch to touch it.

The architecture combined both. Layer upon layer of different patterns, all thrown together, I LOVE IT. Total inspiration for my Asian Birthday Party.
